When to get an HIV test
Check the appropriate window period
- PCR Test: Can be tested 10 days after risk exposure.
- 4th Generation Test: Can be tested 3 weeks after risk exposure.
Note: It is not necessary to abstain from water or food before the test.
Receiving HIV Testing Service at Safe Clinic

- Walk-in. Service recipients can come to the clinic. It is open every day from 12:00 – 21:00 (last case accepted at 20:30). No days off for utmost convenience.
HIV Testing Procedure at Safe Clinic
- Registration: The registration process takes only about 5 minutes. By providing basic information, including name-surname (or an alias), date of birth, and a contact number or email, you can receive the service immediately.
- Blood Draw: The safety of our clients is our highest priority. A new needle is used every time and opened in front of you. All nurses are experienced, have professional licenses, and undergo continuous training. The blood draw procedure takes about 5 minutes.
- Laboratory Testing: Blood analysis is performed by medical technologists with professional licenses and direct experience. It takes about 30 minutes.
- Reporting of Results: Every case will receive a result report. You can choose to receive it via email or as a paper document. The result will be delivered only to the service recipient. If a past result is requested, it can be re-sent only to the registered email address.
